By December 8, 2022 Tenants

Bluewater Properties is excited to have Northfield Hospital + Clinics’ Urgent Care as a tenant at Heritage Square! This new clinic is a great option when individuals and families need medical care that doesn’t require an emergency room and the primary provider’s schedule is full. It is not only convenient; it is quality treatment from Northfield Hospital + Clinics’ providers. Below are many commonly asked questions and details about when the clinic is available, who they can treat, and what services they provide.

When is the Urgent Care clinic open?
Medical care is available on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from noon to 7:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The clinic is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Is medical care available to anyone?
The Urgent Care clinic will treat adults and children over the age of 3 months. You are not required to be a current Northfield Hospital + Clinics patient.

Which providers are seeing patients at the Urgent Care clinic?
There are currently three providers at the clinic, all with experience in emergency medicine:
– Sheena Buchholtz, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
– Sarah Tran, PA-C
– Jill Hansen, MN, PMHNP, FNP

Is the ER required if a bone might be broken?
The Urgent Care clinic can take x-rays! Unless the injury requires different imaging such as a CT or MRI, you may not need to transfer to the hospital for an x-ray.

Can the Urgent Care staff prescribe medicine or do lab tests?
Absolutely! Urgent Care is the perfect place to treat illnesses such as an ear infection or strep throat. The staff can perform lab tests for diagnosis and prescribe medication, such as an antibiotic.

Are there situations when Urgent Care isn’t the right place for medical care?
The purpose of Urgent Care is to provide convenient, walk-in care for unexpected illnesses or injuries. As part of the Northfield Hospital + Clinics’ system, they can direct you to the level of care needed. However, please contact your primary provider when in need of medication refills, pregnancy tests, or care for chronic conditions. Urgent Care does not offer DOT physicals.
