Out and About Northfield: Books and Stars & Hogan Brothers

By July 15, 2019 July 30th, 2019 Out and About Northfield

Let’s go out and about Northfield. This week we had the chance to talk with our Executive Assistant, Holli Reed!

Growing up in Northfield has given me the chance to learn about its history and all the events it has to offer. One of my favorite activities to go to is Books and Stars which is put on every summer by the Northfield Public Library. This event features different bands from around the area, storytime, as well as, a chance to check out the Bookmobile. One feature I enjoy about this event is every week it moves to a new location. This provides a way to see new places around town. Books and Stars have provided a great way to hear new music and enjoy a beautiful summer night with my family.

Once the event has finished for the evening we like to head to the downtown area to get some ice cream at Hogan Brothers. The atmosphere here is wonderful and allows us to enjoy our treats in the nice a/c or we can take them on the go and walk down by the river. Summers are always fun because it provides many opportunities to get out and about.

Do you have a favorite activity around Northfield? We could love to hear about it!
