Interning for Bluewater Properties this past summer has been a real privilege for me. I have always found myself interested in the real estate industry and I am grateful that I got an opportunity to experience it first hand. I can remember getting coffee with Chris Kennelly this past spring and asking him all sorts questions in order to get his advice as I further my degree in Real Estate at the University of St. Thomas. I had no expectation that our sit down would lead me to be able to further my knowledge as an intern for his company, Bluewater Properties.
Over the course of the summer, I got the privilege to see the ins-and-outs of a local commercial real estate firm and do everything from property management to forecasting and market research.

Bluewater Properties has an incredible ethos and their work reflects highly in the Northfield community. We worked hard and had some along the way; like winning the Chamber’s GolfaPalooza in July.
I know that I merely scratched the surface in this industry, however, I am confident that my experience with Bluewater Properties built a strong foundation and I eager to advance my career in the real estate industry.
